Everyone prefers a chilled beer to drink. But often, we are faced with a situation, with cans of warm beers in our hands and not much of time to freeze them. The normal process of freezing works but it takes a long time and your party may get over! So, following are some top ways to cool down your beer fast:
1. Wind and Sock method
- This method is helpful when you have no freezer or cool box with you. Some natural elements do your work!
- Prefer buying your beer in glass bottles than cans.
- Place bottle in your socks and wet beer with sock completely.
- Now, hang the wet beer with sock at some tree or a place, where it receives a lot of wind.
- And after 20-30 minutes, your beer gets cool enough.
2. Using fire extinguisher
- For this you need a fire extinguisher with you and of course your warm beer.
- Here it goes: lay your warm beers on sidewalk or backyard.
- Now spray over the beer cans with fire extinguisher.
- Afterwards, put your beers with ice for some time and here what you get is chilling beers to enjoy!
3. Paper Towel and Fridge Method
- This method may be useful if you have a refrigerator with you.
- Put the wrapped beer bottle (wrapped with a paper towel or a newspaper) in fridge for 15-20 minutes and enjoy your chilled beer!
4. Salt, Water and Ice Method
For this method you need salt and ice cubes to cool down your warm beer bottle or cans. This method cools faster and very common to use.
- Take a container and fill it with plenty of ice cubes and add some water to it.
- Now add a small amount of table salt to it.
- Place your drinks in the container in such a way they are completely submerged into water.
- Keep stirring for 5 minutes. And, this way your drinks get chilled.
- One thing to notice is that we are using salt for lowering the freezing point of water. But, this melts ice faster and so liquid needs to be poured out and new cubes are to be added at regular laps.
5. Compressed air method
This method requires some additional tools to do the task:
- Drill with 3/32’ drill bit.
- A compressed air bottle.
- Duct tape.
- Plastic container.
Following are the steps involved:
- Make a small hole in container using drill.
- Place the compressed air straw into this hole.
- Now place your warm beers into the plastic container. One thing which is very important at this stage is to wrap the container with duct tape. It saves it from breaking.
- Now ensure that air straw is inside the container. Then squeeze the bottle for about a minute.
- And boom! Your beers are now chilled and ready to drink.
So, from now on, never ruin your party time waiting for your beer to get chilled, just follow any one of the above methods and enjoy!
